Tbilisi: The United Nations Public Service Forum is currently underway in Tbilisi, Georgia. In his remarks, Ulvi Mehdiyev, Chairman of the State Agency for Public Service and Social Innovations under the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, spoke about the reforms in the delivery of public services in Azerbaijan and the successes of the 'ASAN Khidmet' model. He noted that the establishment of the 'ASAN Khidmet' model is a testament to President Ilham Aliyev's citizen-oriented policy.

According to Azerbaijan State News Agency, the 'ASAN Khidmet' model, currently recognized worldwide as one of the most advanced examples of the provision of public services, stands as a successful brand created by Azerbaijan, more precisely, by President Ilham Aliyev. Highlighting the role of volunteers in organizing the work of the service, Ulvi Mehdiyev added: 'Through a special volunteer program, young people and students support citizens in using digital services and innovative technologies. Volunteers help identify problems that arise in the service process, and their opinions and suggestions are taken into account when improving services.'

The Agency Chairman underlined that data-driven mechanisms and artificial intelligence tools are used to promptly analyze citizen opinions. 'The operations of all service centers are monitored in real time, while daily, weekly, and monthly reports are prepared, and results are compared through a special artificial intelligence assistant. All these tools help to further improve service delivery and ensure that services are developed in accordance with the needs and expectations of citizens,' Ulvi Mehdiyev emphasized.
