Underwater Assault Navy Special Force Course Graduation Held in Azerbaijan

Baku: A graduation ceremony for the latest Underwater Assault Navy Special Force course took place at one of the military units of the Azerbaijan Naval Forces, as reported by the Ministry of Defense to APA. The event began with a visit to the Shehids’ memorial complex, where flowers were laid to honor the memory of those who sacrificed their lives.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, the ceremony included a moment of silence in memory of National Leader Heydar Aliyev and the Shehids. The National Anthem of the Republic of Azerbaijan was then performed by a military orchestra. Rear Admiral Shahin Mammadov, Commander of the Naval Forces, addressed the gathering, congratulating the servicemen who completed the course and thanking the staff for their efforts in organizing the training. The course featured professional instructors from both the Azerbaijani and Turkish Armies.

Certificates, badges, and gifts were awarded to Azerbaijani and Turkish instructors and the successful graduates. The ceremony concluded with the top graduate attaching an emblem to a symbolic stump and a group photo.
