Baku — The Azerbaijan State University of Economics (UNEC) is set to host an international symposium on August 31, focusing on the role of global scientific cooperation in addressing contemporary environmental challenges. This event comes ahead of the 29th Conference of the Parties (COP 29), underscoring the urgency of environmental issues on the global agenda.
According to Azeri-Press News Agency, the symposium titled “UN-COP29: Strengthening the Role of World Scientists in Solving the Current Problems of Modern Civilization. Environmental Protection and the Green Agenda,” will feature participants from Azerbaijan, China, Kazakhstan, India, Georgia, Russia, and Moldova. The event aims to foster meaningful discussions on the vital contributions of the scientific community to environmental protection and sustainability.
