Ankara: The commissioning of the Baku-Tbilisi-Kars (BTK) railway line following its modernization will make a significant contribution to the prosperity of the participating countries, Trkiye's Minister of Transport and Infrastructure Abdulkadir Uraloglu told journalists.
According to Azeri-Press News Agency, the minister emphasized that the project was implemented through the determination demonstrated by the leaders of Trkiye, Azerbaijan, and Georgia. He noted the importance of the Middle Corridor, especially in light of the difficulties faced by maritime and waterway corridors globally.
Uraloglu remarked on the increasing value of the Middle Corridor, which is highlighted by recent challenges in international transport routes. The BTK railway line is expected to enhance connectivity and economic collaboration among the countries involved.
