US Accused of Supporting Occupation and Separatism in Azerbaijan for 30 Years, Azerbaijani MP Claims

Baku – Bahruz Maharramov, a Member of the Azerbaijani Parliament, has accused the United States of supporting the occupation of Azerbaijani lands and separatism for three decades. Maharramov criticized the US for its role in the prolonged conflict between Azerbaijan and Armenia, stating that the US openly supported the occupation factor and separatism, major obstacles to regional peace and stability.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, He condemned the US for adopting the 907th amendment, which he interpreted as supporting the occupier, and for engaging with separatist regime officials. Maharramov expressed disappointment in Washington’s role, suggesting that it acted as an obstacle to the rule of international law and the liberation of Azerbaijani territories from occupation.
