Baku: Azerbaijan's commitment to the Zangezur corridor is clearly evident, said US traveler Stephen Nemet during his visit to Karabakh and East Zangezur, APA reports.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, Nemet expressed his gratitude for the opportunity to witness the ongoing construction of the Zangezur corridor. He emphasized the significance of the project, noting the proximity of Azerbaijan and Armenia and highlighting Azerbaijan's dedication to the initiative. Nemet observed that extensive construction work has been carried out, with the entire road asphalted and tunnels built.

Nemet further noted the potential impact of the corridor on regional economic ties, particularly between Azerbaijan's mainland, Nakhchivan, and other countries along the route. He underscored the importance of regional cooperation and Azerbaijan's strategic geographical position as a connection point between Asia and Europe. Nemet concluded that once completed, the corridor will serve as a crucial land link between numerous countries.
