Baku: An Uzbek delegation visiting Azerbaijan as part of the II Azerbaijan-Uzbekistan Media Forum paid homage at the Victory Monument in Victory Park. This visit was accompanied by Ahmad Ismayilov, Executive Director of the Media Development Agency, and Ismat Sattarov, Chairman of the Audiovisual Council, as reported by the agency to APA.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, the delegation laid flowers at the monument, honoring the memory of Azerbaijani martyrs who sacrificed their lives for the country’s territorial integrity and sovereignty. The visitors received comprehensive information about Victory Park, which commemorates the Azerbaijani people’s historical victory in the Patriotic War and honors the memory of the martyrs.

The park’s ongoing development includes a Victory Museum, established by a decree from President Ilham Aliyev on December 3, 2020. This museum aims to preserve the history of the Patriotic War, celebrating the heroism of soldiers and officers and honoring the memory of all martyrs.
