Baku: The agreements reached in Gabala have injected momentum into enhancing cooperation among member states, stated Abdulla Aripov, the Prime Minister of Uzbekistan, during a significant meeting of Heads of Government/Vice President of the Member States of the Organization of Turkic States (OTS) in Baku. Aripov emphasized the critical nature of current global transformations, marked by unprecedented challenges such as conflicts, economic turmoil, technological disruptions, and hybrid threats, which are complicating the international environment. He warned of the potential disintegration of the global architecture of international security and economic cooperation.
According to Azerbaijan State News Agency, Aripov stressed the importance of preserving the spirit of regional organizations built on trust, historical proximity, and long-term common interests. He highlighted the necessity of combining efforts within the Organization of Turkic States during such complex times. Furthermore, he underscored the need for creating favorable conditions to enhance the living standards and well-being of the peoples within the member states as a top priority.
