KABUL – A significant Uzbek-Afghan business forum was held in Kabul on August 17, with the aim of bolstering economic cooperation between Uzbekistan and Afghanistan.
According to Trend News Agency, Industry and Trade, Laziz Kudratov, participated in the forum, which drew over 500 business representatives from both countries. Discussions at the event focused on various strategies to enhance bilateral trade, including increasing the range of traded goods, strengthening producer and exporter ties, and boosting joint business activities. The event also featured a “Made in Uzbekistan” exhibition showcasing products from key Uzbek industries such as automotive, textiles, and pharmaceuticals, with the goal of increasing mutual trade to 1 billion US dollars.
