Tashkent: On August 26, First Lady of the Republic of Uzbekistan Ziroat Mirziyoyeva engaged in a phone call with the First Vice-President of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Mehriban Aliyeva. During the call, Mirziyoyeva conveyed her heartfelt birthday wishes to Aliyeva, marking the occasion with warm regards.

According to Azerbaijan State News Agency, Mirziyoyeva reminisced about her meetings with Aliyeva during the latter's recent visit to Uzbekistan, highlighting the significance of their interactions. She praised the wide-ranging activities and commendable initiatives undertaken by Aliyeva, noting that her efforts have garnered admiration not only within Azerbaijan but globally.

In response, First Vice-President Mehriban Aliyeva expressed her gratitude to Mirziyoyeva for the thoughtful congratulations. Aliyeva also recalled her own visit to Uzbekistan, extending her appreciation for the hospitality she received during her stay.
