Baku: During the first six months of the current year, Azerbaijan exported 307,167 tonnes of crude oil to Tunisia, representing a 2.4-fold increase-or an additional 181,493 tonnes-compared to the corresponding period last year.
According to Azerbaijan State News Agency, data released by the State Customs Committee reveals that the total value of these shipments surged 2.8 times year-on-year, rising by $119.67 million to reach $187.6 million.
With this growth, Tunisia accounted for 3% of Azerbaijan's total crude oil exports over the six-month period.
For comparative context, during the January-June period of last year, crude exports to Tunisia stood at 125,674 tonnes, valued at $67.93 million.
