Garadagh: Leyla Aliyeva, Vice-President of the Heydar Aliyev Foundation and founder and head of IDEA Public Union, attended the opening ceremony of a new park in the Gobustan settlement of Garadagh district.
According to Azeri-Press News Agency, the park spans 10,350 square meters and is situated on the Baku-Gazakh highway, opposite residential houses. The park’s development involved extensive landscaping to provide a healthy recreational space for Gobustan residents and enhance the local environment. Various types of trees, shrubs, and flowers were planted, with facilities such as gazebos and children’s playgrounds installed for residents’ convenience.
Leyla Aliyeva, along with IDEA volunteers, participated in a tree-planting campaign within the park, which included the planting of cypress trees. Following the event, she distributed toys to children and posed for commemorative photos.
