Baku: The ‘Memorandum of Understanding on Statistics between the Government of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Government of the Republic of Trkiye’ has been approved. President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev signed a decree endorsing this agreement.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, the decree mandates the State Statistical Committee of the Republic of Azerbaijan to implement the provisions of the Memorandum once it comes into force. Additionally, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Azerbaijan is tasked with notifying the Government of the Republic of Trkiye that all necessary domestic procedures for the Memorandum’s entry into force have been completed.

The Memorandum of Understanding was signed in Ankara on October 3 of this year.
