Vugar Aliyev Highlights Collaboration Between AZERTAC and Baku State University

Baku: Vugar Aliyev, Chairman of the Board of the Azerbaijan State News Agency (AZERTAC), emphasized the ongoing collaboration between AZERTAC and Baku State University (BSU) during the inauguration of a new AZERTAC auditorium at BSU's Faculty of Journalism. This initiative aims to enhance the professional training of young journalists in Azerbaijan.

According to Azerbaijan State News Agency, Aliyev highlighted the historical significance of both institutions, noting that BSU, founded in 1919, is the oldest higher educational institution in the country, while AZERTAC was established in 1920. He remarked on the close cooperation between the two entities, which provides students from BSU's Faculty of Journalism with ample opportunities to engage in internship programs at AZERTAC, allowing them to master modern media standards. Successful interns often find employment within the Agency, further strengthening the professional landscape.

The newly opened AZERTAC auditorium at BSU's Faculty of Journalism is expected to serve as a hub for various meetings, classes, and training sessions. This development is anticipated to make AZERTAC more accessible to journalism students, providing them with practical experiences that are invaluable in their professional growth. Aliyev expressed optimism about the benefits the collaboration brings to both the university and the society at large.
