“Armenian separatists in Azerbaijan’s Karabakh economic region should sit calmly, should not aggravate the situation,” said Igor Korotchenko, editor-in-chief of the Russian magazine Nasionalnaya Oborona, a well-known military expert, APA’s correspondent in Moscow reports.

According to him, Russia has focused all of its attention on special military operations in Ukraine and is not interested in aggravating the situation in the South Caucasus.

“But international Armenian Diaspora, which has access to the whole world, provokes Karakabh Armenians to commit provocations against Azerbaijani servicemen in order to establish a large-scale conflict and to put Russia on the opposite side of Turkiye and Azerbaijan by involving in it. Withdrawal of illegal Armenian armed groups from the territory of Azerbaijan’s Karabakh economic region, which has been reflected in the trilateral statement and later agreements signed by Vladimir Putin, Ilham Aliyev, and Nikol Pashinyan, is the main factor in the stability and foreseeable development of the situation,” the military expert noted on his Telegram Channel.
