Prague: The Azerbaijani Embassy in the Czech Republic hosted an event to celebrate World Azerbaijanis Solidarity Day on December 31, as reported by APA's European Bureau. The celebration was marked by the presence of Azerbaijani Ambassador to the Czech Republic, Yashar Aliyev, who extended his congratulations to Azerbaijani compatriots on this occasion.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, Ambassador Yashar Aliyev highlighted the significance of World Azerbaijanis Solidarity Day, which was established through the initiative of National Leader Heydar Aliyev. He emphasized its importance in bolstering unity, national solidarity, and the ideals of statehood among Azerbaijanis worldwide. Furthermore, he remarked on the crucial role this holiday plays in safeguarding the national identity of Azerbaijani people and enhancing diaspora activities.

The event was further enlivened by a banquet and performances of national dances, adding a cultural dimension to the festivities.
