Baku: The World Bank Group has emphasized its significant role in aiding countries with post-crisis housing recovery. At the event 'Housing at the Center of Crisis Recovery and Reconstruction', Ming Zhang, the World Bank Group's Global Director for Urban, Subnational Finance, Tourism, and Disaster Management, stated that housing is a crucial element in post-disaster and post-crisis recovery. Zhang highlighted the organization's efforts in supporting numerous countries in their housing recovery initiatives over the years.

According to Azerbaijan State News Agency, the event was part of the WUF13, where Zhang discussed the importance of housing in crisis recovery and reconstruction. The World Bank Group continues to focus on providing substantial support to nations grappling with the aftermath of crises, underscoring the vital role of housing in rebuilding communities and fostering resilience.
