Baku:The next Global Conference on State-Owned Enterprises is scheduled to take place in Baku in 2027. This announcement was made following a meeting between the Azerbaijani delegation and Antonella Bassani, Vice President for Europe and Central Asia at the World Bank.

According to Azeri-Press news agency, a preliminary agreement has been reached with the World Bank to organize the conference in Baku, and preparations are currently underway.

During the meeting, Azerbaijan's First Deputy Minister of Finance, Anar Karimov, discussed the ongoing reforms in Azerbaijan regarding the monitoring and financial analysis of state-owned enterprises. He expressed appreciation for the technical support provided by the World Bank in these efforts.

The discussions also covered the potential for further development of the existing cooperation between Azerbaijan and the World Bank.
