Paris: A meeting of the European Regional Commission of the World Organisation for Animal Health (WOAH) commenced ahead of the 93rd General Session of the World Assembly of Delegates in Paris, France. Representing Azerbaijan, Galib Abdulaliyev participated in his capacity as Vice-President of the WOAH European Regional Commission and as Head of the Animal Health and Biosecurity Department of the Food Safety Agency of Azerbaijan. During the meeting, he emphasized Azerbaijan's initiatives and contributions under his vice-presidency.

According to Azerbaijan State News Agency, the session also included a report from the Monitoring Group of the Animal Welfare Committee of the Commission. Galib Abdulaliyev, representing five member countries of the European Regional Commission, delivered a presentation outlining their collective efforts.

The outcomes from this regional commission meeting are set to be deliberated at the upcoming General Session, where relevant decisions will be finalized. The Regional Commission for Europe comprises Delegates from 53 Member Countries in the region.
