An event on the occasion of the World Teachers’ Day was held at the Academy of the Ministry of Emergency Situations on October 5, 2022.

The event started as the State Anthem was played. Making a keynote speech at the event, the Head of the Academy, Major-General Baba Salayev congratulated the staff of the Academy on the occasion of the World Teachers’ Day, wished them success. B. Salayev said that the teacher upbrings a great generation with literacy and outlook. Citing to the nationwide leader Heydar Aliyev’s words “Those who dedicated their lives to teaching are selfless persons loyal to the people, nation, and at the same time demonstrating heroism”, B. Salayev spoke about the importance of the teacher’s work and emphasized that the decent follower of the National Leader’s political course, President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev attaches special attention to the improvement of national education.

The head teacher of the Academy’s Safety of Life Activity Department, Senior Lieutenant Aysel Suleymanova made a speech on World Teachers’ Day and spoke about the importance of this significant day.

Then, a group of professors and teachers were awarded with honorary decrees by the leadership of the MES Academy on the occasion of World Teachers’ Day for their successful activities in the field of education.

In the end, oath-taking ceremony of young teachers was held. Young teachers solemnly took an oath by putting their hands on the Constitution of the Republic of Azerbaijan and signed the written text of the oath.
