World Traveler Impressed by Modernization and Natural Beauty of Karabakh

Zangilan: "This is my first visit to Karabakh. The region has changed so much; it has become even more modern. My first impression of Karabakh is that its nature is simply beautiful," world traveler Alessandro Giovanni Gerevini said in an interview with a regional correspondent in Zangilan.

According to Azerbaijan State News Agency, Gerevini, originally from Italy, currently resides in Japan where he serves as a professor at the Nagoya University of Foreign Studies. This marks his second visit to Azerbaijan, with his first visit occurring over a decade ago with his niece. Gerevini noted the many new, beautiful buildings that have emerged, which he had not expected during his previous visit. He expressed optimism about the region's potential, stating that with an increase in tourists and visitors, Karabakh could become a very attractive destination.
