According to Azeri-Press News Agency, the forum hosted numerous sessions, ministerial meetings, and high-level discussions centered on urbanization, access to adequate housing, sustainable urban development, climate change, and urban governance. These discussions provided a platform for stakeholders to share insights and strategies for addressing urban challenges.

During the forum, it was announced that the next World Urban Forum will take place in Mexico City, the capital of Mexico, in 2028. This announcement highlights the ongoing commitment of the international community to address global urban issues through collaborative dialogue and planning.
