Khankendi: The WUF13 Roadshow in Khankendi concluded with a public programme aimed at raising awareness of the thirteenth session of the World Urban Forum (WUF13) among local residents and visitors, the WUF13 Operating Company told APA. The event was attended by Sabuhi Gahramanov, Deputy Special Representative of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan in the city of Khankendi and the Aghdara and Khojaly districts, alongside other senior officials and members of the public.
According to Azeri-Press News Agency, the programme included a series of interactive activities, educational games, presentations, and public discussions that highlighted key themes such as sustainable urban development, inclusive urban environments, and innovative urban solutions. These activities aimed to engage a broad audience on the topics of urban development and the future of cities.
The interactive events were held at Victory Square, attracting around 8,000 participants. The programme featured competitions based on questions related to WUF13 and urban development. Participants who provided correct answers were awarded prizes, encouraging active engagement and learning among attendees.
