Baku: Preparations for the Thirteenth Session of the World Urban Forum (WUF13) are rapidly advancing in Baku.

According to Azerbaijan State News Agency, AZERTAC presents a time-lapse showcasing the ongoing construction of the event infrastructure adjacent to the Baku Olympic Stadium. The venue is being developed to host guests from various countries alongside local participants for global discussions on sustainable urbanization in May 2026.

The Thirteenth Session of the World Urban Forum (WUF13) will focus on the theme 'Housing the world: Safe and resilient cities and communities' and is scheduled to be held in Baku from May 17-22, 2026.
