Zangezur Corridor Construction Advancing Rapidly, PM Ali Asadov Says

Baku: The construction of the Zangezur corridor in Azerbaijan is continuing rapidly, said Prime Minister Ali Asadov at the 12th meeting of the Joint Intergovernmental Commission on Economic Cooperation between Azerbaijan and Trkiye, APA reports. Ali Asadov highlighted that this railway, with an initial cargo carrying capacity of 15 million tons, will serve as the main artery of the Middle Corridor.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, Ali Asadov expressed satisfaction with the progress made, particularly noting the laying of the foundation for the Kars-Nakhchivan railway line in August. This railway line is a segment of the Zangezur corridor and is expected to benefit Azerbaijan, Trkiye, and other countries.
