Baku: 'We are extremely pleased to see that the Zangezur corridor has resumed momentum together with the parties following the latest agreements,' said Fuat Oktay, Chairman of the Foreign Affairs Committee of the Grand National Assembly of Trkiye (GNAT), APA reports.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, Oktay emphasized the significance of the Zangezur corridor as a project that will contribute to peace and regional development. He highlighted its role in uniting the Turkic world and strengthening ties between Nakhchivan and Azerbaijan, as well as between Trkiye and Azerbaijan. The project is also expected to benefit the Turkic world as a whole.

Oktay further noted that the initiative would serve the development of all countries in the region, including Georgia. He expressed hope that full peace in the region would create a foundation for a stronger and more stable future for both Russia and Iran. Oktay concluded by expressing the hope for the project's swift implementation.
