Aghaly: Aghaly village of Zangilan has been included in the 'Model Villages Network' by the United Nations Food and Agriculture Organization (UN FAO) for its contribution to the protection of natural heritage, support of biodiversity, and sustainable rural development, said the Special Representation of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan in the Jabrayil, Gubadli, and Zangilan districts, APA reports.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, the inclusion of Aghaly village in the prestigious UN FAO network highlights its efforts in advancing environmental sustainability and promoting ecological balance. The village has been recognized for implementing practices that protect natural resources, enhance biodiversity, and foster rural sustainability. The recognition is expected to encourage other villages to adopt similar strategies to promote sustainable development.
