New York Hosts Awareness Campaign on Khojaly Genocide

New york: An awareness-raising campaign dedicated to the 34th anniversary of the Khojaly genocide was organized in New York, the U.S., with the support of Azerbaijan's State Committee on Work with Diaspora and the American-Azerbaijani Youth and Sports Association.

According to Azerbaijan State News Agency, during the campaign, trucks equipped with LED screens displayed slogans such as 'Justice for Khojaly,' 'Khojaly - Their courage and pain remain with us,' and 'Never Forget: Khojaly Genocide.' These trucks traveled through central streets of New York, passing prominent locations like Times Square, the UN Headquarters, Wall Street, the Brooklyn Bridge, around the Statue of Liberty, and Central Park. They also made a stop in front of the New York Times building.

The vehicles featured QR codes that provided detailed information about the tragedy. Similar rallies took place across various cities in the U.S., including Washington, and Boston.
