Baku: Ziya Bunyadov Avenue is set for expansion, with plans to open new roads to Khirdalan, as confirmed by the Chairman of the Azerbaijan Land Transport Agency.
According to Azeri-Press News Agency, Anar Rzayev, Chairman of the Board of the Azerbaijan Land Transport Agency, discussed the developments during a meeting focused on transport issues. Rzayev highlighted that a detailed analysis was carried out, involving data collection and photographs at 15 intersections, ranging from Khirdalan Circle to Tbilisi Avenue, and from 20 January to Ziya Bunyadov Avenue.
The analysis resulted in a comprehensive simulation aimed at addressing complex transport challenges. The simulation outlines improvement works in the Khirdalan district, including the construction of road junctions and overpasses. It also involves expanding roads leading to Ziya Bunyadov Avenue and opening new routes from Shamakhi road to Khirdalan city, facilitating easier access to the area. Rzayev indicated that design work for these projects will commence shortly.
