Baku: Recently, 138 hectares of land will be presented to investors in the Alat Free Economic Zone, Valeh Alasgarov, Chairman of the Board of the Alat Free Economic Zone, said at the Azerbaijan-China Economic and Trade Cooperation Conference, APA-Econimics reports.
According to Azeri-Press News Agency, Alasgarov highlighted the attractiveness of the Alat Free Economic Zone, emphasizing its appeal based on current experiences. He announced the immediate availability of 60 hectares of land in the first stage for potential investors. Furthermore, he revealed that within the near future, an additional 138 hectares will be made available to investors. Alasgarov also outlined plans for the presentation of another 364 hectares of land in about a year and a half.
The total area of the Alat Free Economic Zone spans at least 6,500 hectares, offering ample opportunities for companies of varying sizes and volumes to invest. The zone’s strategic development reflects a commitment to fostering economic growth and attracting international investment.
