BAKU—Hafiz Pashayev, Rector of ADA University, has stressed the importance of training modern specialists and integrating Azerbaijani scientists residing abroad into the nation’s scientific endeavors. This call to action was made during his address at the Forum of Azerbaijani Scientists Living Abroad, held in Baku on Monday.
According to Azerbaijan State News Agency, Rector Pashayev highlighted the significant strides ADA University has made in advancing education and scientific research within Azerbaijan. He reflected on the Soviet era, noting the historical depth of science and education in Azerbaijan, where specialists in exact sciences were actively recruited from across the USSR to bolster local expertise.
Post-independence, the need for innovation in science and education became paramount, a challenge that ADA University has taken up by implementing numerous educational innovations. “Today, we have talented young people growing up in Azerbaijan. We are confident that those young people will contribute to the development of science and education in our country,” stated Pashayev, underscoring the potential of Azerbaijan’s youth to drive future scientific and educational advancements.
