Baku: 'Azerbaijan Railways' CJSC (ADY), a part of AZCON Holding, is set to commence passenger transportation on the Baku-Aghdam-Baku route starting August 30. Passengers will travel on modern FLIRT trains, which are produced by the Swiss company Stadler.
According to Azeri-Press News Agency, the train service will follow a schedule where departures from Baku occur at 07:10 on Saturdays, with arrivals in Aghdam at 11:53. The return journey will see departures from Aghdam at 18:20, reaching Baku Railway Station at 22:55.
The ticket pricing structure reveals a minimum cost of 12 AZN for travel to Barda and Kocherli stations, as well as the Tazakand stop. A ticket to the Aghdam Railway and Bus Station Complex is priced at 12.80 AZN. Passengers on this route will have access to free Wi-Fi throughout their journey.
Tickets for the Baku-Aghdam-Baku route will be available from August 27. They can be purchased via ADY's website, the ADY Mobile app, or at railway ticket offices.
