AGHDAM: Aghdam Industrial Park in Azerbaijan is fast approaching full occupancy, with 60 percent of the area currently filled and expectations of no available space by next year, according to Agshin Ibishsoy, Head of the Business Projects Analysis Department of the Agency for Development of Economic Zones under the Ministry of Economy of Azerbaijan. The official spoke during the ongoing Caspian Construction Week, highlighting the significant traction the park is gaining among investors.

According to Trend News Agency, Ibishsoy emphasized the high level of interest in the industrial park, which recently welcomed several new enterprises. These businesses have collectively invested over 40 million manat ($23.5 million) in the park. At the initial stage, these investments have led to the creation of more than 150 permanent jobs. Plans are underway to increase this number to 456 in the coming stages.

The Caspian Construction Week, a pivotal event in the regional construction sector, is currently being hosted at
the Baku Expo Center from October 15 through 17. The event serves as a convergence point for various construction companies from around the globe, with more than 380 companies from 22 countries participating in the exhibitions.
