South Korea and Turkmenistan Explore Enhanced Trade and Economic Ties


Seoul: Representatives from the Parliament of Turkmenistan and the National Assembly of the Republic of Korea recently deliberated on enhancing trade and economic cooperation, as reported by Trend News Agency via Turkmenistan’s official media.

According to Trend News Agency, these discussions took place during the Turkmen-Korean consultative meeting, which was part of the second meeting of the Presidents of the Parliaments of the Central Asian states and the Republic of Korea in the “C5+1” format. The meeting addressed various sectors including transportation, energy, high technologies, science, education, health care, tourism, and issues related to climate change and environmental protection.

The dialogue emphasized the importance of regular meetings to fortify interstate relations and propel the development of mutual cooperation. There was also a focus on strengthening inter-parliamentary ties, seen as a crucial component of the countries’ interactions.
