Agreement on Cooperation between Azerbaijan and Georgia’s Interior Ministries Approved

Baku: The 'Agreement on Cooperation between the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Georgia' has been approved. President Ilham Aliyev signed a decree endorsing this agreement.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, the decree mandates that once the Agreement is in force, the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Azerbaijan is responsible for implementing its provisions. Additionally, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Azerbaijan is tasked with informing the Government of Georgia that all necessary internal procedures for the Agreement's activation have been completed.

The Agreement, which aims to foster collaboration between the two nations' internal affairs ministries, was initially signed in Tbilisi on November 21, 2025.
