Credit Investments in Azerbaijani Economy Reach Nearly 32 Billion Manats

Baku: As of January 1, 2026, total credit investments in the Azerbaijani economy, including both bank and non-bank institutions, amounted to 31 billion 946.7 million manat.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, this figure represents a 9.1% increase, or 2 billion 658.5 million manat, compared to January 1, 2025.

During this period, state banks contributed 7 billion 867.3 million manat in credit investments, while private banks accounted for 22 billion 195.7 million manat. Non-bank credit organizations invested 1 billion 883.7 million manat.

The banks' loan portfolio totaled 30 billion 63 million manat as of the reporting date. This included 16 billion 106.3 million manat in business loans, 9 billion 354.2 million manat in consumer loans, and 4 billion 602.5 million manat in mortgage loans.
