SAMUKH: A significant memorandum of cooperation was signed between Agro Dairy and the Hungarian University of Agriculture and Life Sciences, marking a new era of educational and agricultural collaboration. The signing ceremony took place during a comprehensive press conference at the Heydar Aliyev Center in Samukh, attended by key figures from Hungary and Azerbaijan.

According to Trend News Agency, the event saw the presence of notable personalities including Tamás Torma, Ambassador of Hungary to Azerbaijan, Professor Csaba Gyuricza, Rector of the Hungarian University of Agriculture and Life Sciences, Ramil Mammadov, Executive Director for Crop Production at Agro Dairy, and Kristof Hartig, Adviser to the Chief Executive Officer. During the conference, Professor Gyuricza unveiled the “MATE Global Azerbaijan” initiative, which had been previously established in spring 2023. This initiative will introduce short-term courses and vocational training at the MATE Global Campus starting the fourth quarter of 2024, f
ocusing on precision agriculture, technical research, and water management.

The delegation’s visit to Samukh also included meetings with Firdovsi Aliyev, Head of the Samukh District Executive Power, and tours of Agro Dairy’s innovative agricultural fields. The Hungarian delegation’s itinerary further extended to Ganja City where they held official meetings with the Ganja City Executive Power, the Azerbaijan Technological University, and the Azerbaijan State Agricultural University to explore further educational and agricultural collaboration.
