Baku: Azerbaijan is set to enhance its regional development by constructing 190 new houses in Aghdara, as outlined by Hamid Mehdiyev, the Assistant Executive Director of Restoration, Construction, and Management Service in Khankendi City, Aghdara, and Khojaly districts. The announcement came during the Caspian Construction Week at the Baku Expo Center.

According to Trend News Agency, Mehdiyev detailed the broader construction initiatives, which include 56 residential buildings in Khojaly and 120 in Malibayli and other surrounding villages. Additionally, the construction of five five-story buildings in Sugovushan is nearing completion. Although the return of internally displaced persons (IDPs) to Khankendi has not started, the area is already home to over 5,000 representatives and employees from various state and non-state organizations. The recent inauguration of Karabakh University has also brought approximately 1,200 students to the region.

The Caspian Construction Week, which took place from October 15 t
hrough 17, played a pivotal role in these development discussions. This significant event in the construction sector attracted over 380 companies from 22 countries, providing a vital platform for collaboration and exchange.
