Hamburg: Azerbaijan is recognized as a strategically important country for Airbus owing to its geographical location, as stated by Airbus representative Malhar Pens during a briefing in Hamburg. This event was part of the presentation of the first Airbus A321neo aircraft for Azerbaijan Airlines (AZAL).

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, Malhar Pens highlighted Azerbaijan's pivotal role at the intersection of Europe and Asia, making it a strategic center for aviation. He emphasized, "Azerbaijan is an important country for Airbus due to its geographical position. The country serves as a bridge between East and West, which creates major advantages for the development of air transportation."

The Airbus representative further noted the company's commitment to enhancing its cooperation with Azerbaijan and supporting the growth of the nation's civil aviation sector.
