Baku: The problem of access to housing currently affects one in three people worldwide, marking it as a global crisis and a systemic shortage. These remarks were made by Anacl¡udia Rossbach, Executive Director of UN-Habitat, during the dialogue session titled 'The Global Housing Crisis: What is the Plan?' at the 13th Session of the World Urban Forum (WUF13).

According to Azerbaijan State News Agency, Rossbach emphasized the critical importance of housing for urban development. She stated, "Housing is very essential for cities. Cities need to provide well-located services, be more productive, competitive, and inclusive." Her comments underscore the urgent need for cities worldwide to address housing accessibility to foster sustainable urban growth.
