Abu dhabi: 'One of the current global concerns is rising land prices, which require effective land policy for housing construction,' said Anacl¡udia Rossbach, Executive Director of UN-Habitat, at a panel session on "A New Deal for Housing Finance" within the framework of the 13th Session of the United Nations World Urban Forum (WUF13).

According to Azerbaijan State News Agency, Rossbach emphasized that no country can overcome the land crisis without the integration of both local and international finance. She highlighted the successful examples of countries like China and the United States, which managed to lift 100 million people out of poverty through the strategic use of local finance. Rossbach reiterated the need for creating urban infrastructure as a vital step towards resolving the land crisis.
