ANAMA and FAO Explore Collaboration Opportunities in Humanitarian Demining

Baku: Vugar Suleymanov, Chairman of the Board of the Mine Action Agency of the Republic of Azerbaijan (ANAMA), recently held a meeting with Muhammad Nasar Hayat, Representative of the United Nations Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO) in Azerbaijan.

According to Azerbaijan State News Agency, the discussion centered around the mine problem currently impacting Azerbaijan. Suleymanov provided comprehensive details on the progress made in the efforts to address and eliminate the threat posed by mines in the region.

The meeting also served as a platform for both parties to exchange views on potential cooperation in humanitarian demining initiatives. Additionally, several other issues of mutual interest were discussed, indicating a willingness to explore further collaborative opportunities in the future.
