Baku: ANAMA has announced the discovery of 91 mines and 440 unexploded ordnance (UXO) in areas recently liberated from occupation.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, operations conducted from May 1 to May 11, 2026, led to the identification of 71 anti-personnel mines, 20 anti-tank mines, and 440 UXO in these territories.

The Azerbaijan National Agency for Mine Action (ANAMA) disclosed that a total of 2,129 hectares of land were effectively cleared of these dangerous remnants of war.
