Azerbaijan Defense Minister Offers Condolences to Pakistan Over Deadly Attack

Baku: Azerbaijan's Minister of Defense, Colonel General Zakir Hasanov, has expressed his condolences to the Chief of Army Staff of the Armed Forces of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir, following a devastating attack in Pakistan's north-western Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province.

According to Azerbaijan State News Agency, the Ministry of Defense reported that Colonel General Zakir Hasanov sent a letter of condolence addressing the tragic incident in the Tank district, where an explosives-laden vehicle targeted a security forces checkpoint. The attack resulted in the loss of 14 lives, including 12 military personnel, and left 24 others injured.

In his letter, Hasanov conveyed his deep sorrow over the attack and prayed for the deceased, offering condolences to their families. He also extended prayers for the swift recovery of those injured, emphasizing his hope for eternal peace for the deceased.
