Baku: Information has been released on demining operations carried out in the liberated territories between August 24 and August 30, 2026, the Azerbaijan National Agency for Mine Action (ANAMA) told APA.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, the agency reported that 161 anti-personnel mines, 29 anti-tank mines, and 689 items of unexploded ordnance (UXO) were detected in the liberated areas during the past week.

A total of 2048.7 hectares of land were cleared of mines and unexploded ordnance, further enhancing the safety of the region.
