NAKCHIVAN — Azerbaijani army positions near the Laktagh residential settlement in the Julfa district of the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic came under fire from Armenian armed forces on the evening of August 18.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, the incident occurred around 7:30 p.m. when small arms were used by Armenian units. In response, the Azerbaijani Army units stationed in the area took retaliatory measures to address the aggression.
