Baku: In the January-July period of 2026, ASCO, a company under the AZCON Holding umbrella, reported a substantial 39% increase in cargo transportation volume via its dry cargo vessels compared to the same timeframe in the previous year.
According to Azerbaijan State News Agency, ASCO's dry cargo vessels transported 780,366 tons during the first seven months of 2025. This figure jumped to 1,083,130 tons in the same period of 2026, showcasing significant growth in the company's transportation activities.
In a closer look at July's performance, the dry cargo vessels carried 188,825 tons, marking a notable increase from the 114,184 tons transported in July of the previous year. This represents an increase of 74,641 tons, or 65%, compared to July 2025, further highlighting ASCO's robust growth trajectory in dry cargo transportation.
