Azerbaijan Advances Horadiz-Aghbend Railway Line Construction

Baku: Azerbaijan has successfully completed 67% of the construction and installation work on the Horadiz-Aghbend railway line, with restoration efforts continuing in the territories that were liberated from occupation.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, Azerbaijan Railways CJSC reports that 84% of the design work for this significant infrastructure project has been finalized. Currently, earthworks and the construction of engineering structures are actively progressing on the 75-106 km section of the railway line.

The project plans include the construction of several key stations along the route, namely Yukhari Marjanli, Shukurbeyli, Soltanli, Gumlag, Hakari, Minjivan, Bartaz, and Aghbend. Furthermore, the railway line will feature an extensive array of engineering structures, with plans for 40 bridges, 26 road crossings, 4 tunnels, 3 galleries, and retaining walls, amounting to a total of 553 engineering structures.
