Baku: One of Azerbaijan's goals is to become a regional Artificial Intelligence hub, an IT hub, and there is potential to achieve this, President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev stated in an interview with local television channels on January 5.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, President Aliyev mentioned that Azerbaijan is collaborating with partners on the development of data centers. The head of state highlighted the country's plans and already implemented projects related to the establishment of a cybersecurity center and the training of specialists. Azerbaijan is sending many specialists for training abroad and is also organizing training courses domestically. The aim is to become a hub for AI and IT alongside improving connectivity.

President Aliyev emphasized the strong political will supporting these initiatives and identified American companies as Azerbaijan's main partners in realizing these ambitions.
