BAKU: In line with the 2024 training plan, the helicopter units of the Azerbaijan Air Force have conducted a series of training flights, as reported by the Ministry of Defense. These exercises aimed to enhance the combat readiness and practical skills of the pilots involved.

According to Azeri-Press News Agency, the training commenced with flight crews submitting reports, followed by an assessment of the pilots’ theoretical understanding of the flight conditions and adherence to safety regulations. Subsequent to this evaluation, the pilots conducted thorough inspections of their helicopters to ensure operational readiness.

The training flights were executed from base airfields, where pilots navigated predetermined routes. The exercises included takeoff and landing tasks, aerial reconnaissance, identification of air and ground targets, and communication with command headquarters. These activities were designed to test and refine the pilots’ abilities in various operational scenarios.
